Welcome to Gaurishankar (G.S) Mahavidyalaya

Gaurishankar (G.S) Mahavidyalaya was established in the year 2015 under the aegis of Martand Charitable Trust, a registered trust. It is the brainchild of a eminent personalities who wanted to bring about a conspicuous change in the educational scenario in eastern part of the state of Uttar Pradesh (Located 20km west of Jaunpur city, near Haiderpur market). Gaurishankar (G.S) Mahavidyalaya is a self -financed, multi-faculty educational institution. The college seeks to channelize education by inculcating in students certain definite career goals. It provides quality education for the total development of students.

The college offers courses in Arts. The B.A. programme is a three-year degree programme. The college is affiliated to the Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University, Jaunpur.

Activities underway to offer courses in Science, Commerce and Vocational courses in the near future to make student employment ready and the preferred choice of recruiters.

Since 2015, this home of learning has offered its students excellent infrastructural facilities along with competent and dedicated faculty who strives for all round development of every student.

In the context of the changing global scenario, the institute has gone all out to provide its students with state of the art facilities as well as to design innovative courses to meet the demands of the time.

Alongside, the college regularly organizes innumerable extra-curricular activities to bring out the hidden talent of the students in the form of artistic self expression.

Above all, the college gladly carries out its social responsibility by serving the physically challenged and socio-economically deprived.
